Support with the assessment process

There are people who can guide you through the EHC needs assessment process.

Wokingham Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) offers:

• information and advice on the EHC needs assessment process
• free SEND drop-in sessions where you can ask them for information and advice

The following organisations provide support with the assessment process.

The Advisory Centre for Education can give you advice about SEND.

The Cambian Group provides support and advice to parents and carers of children and young people with SEND.

Network 81 is a charity that supports, advises and trains parents and carers about the education of children with SEND.

Independent Parental Special Education Advice (IPSEA) is a charity that provides free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND.
