Wraparound services not available
If childcare between 8am and 6pm is not yet available at your school, you can:
- speak to your child's school to inquire about their plans for expanding wraparound childcare services under the Wraparound Childcare programme.
- contact our Wraparound Childcare Lead by emailing wraparound@wokingham.gov.uk
Right to request
Parents’ and carers’ have the right to request that the school their child attends considers establishing wraparound or holiday childcare. Requests should be made in writing to your school either by letter, email or through a parent survey. Your request should include the:
- type of childcare required
- time of sessions required
- age of child or children
- school holiday period it is needed
