Introduction to the Sensory Needs Service in British Sign Language (BSL)
How we can help
Our Sensory Needs team supports people in the Wokingham Borough with:
- Sight loss
- Hearing loss
- d/Deaf
- Dual sensory loss
We provide assessment and specialist support services to people with sensory loss to enable them to continue living as independently as possible.
The Sensory Needs Team has:
- Specialist Deafblind level 3 Assessors
- A rehabilitation worker for visually impaired people (ROVI)
- A specialist referral and assessment officer
