Learning Disability Team

The Learning Disability Team provide support to people with a learning disability.  They can provide support, resources and advocacy. Depending on your situation and your needs, you or your carer will be allocated a social care worker who have the appropriate skill and knowledge.  They will also help you to consider your strengths, things you can still do independently, and where your family, carers or wider community can help. During this conversation they will establish whether you have any eligible needs and what support you require and they will work closely with specialist providers and organisations.
