After the carer's assessment
Following the assessment, we will:
- Recommend organisations for advice on benefits, support services, and more.
- Provide information on:
- Short breaks and respite care.
- Practical and emotional support.
- Emergency preparation plans.
- Help with returning to work, leisure activities, or improving your health.
- Discuss changes that can improve your caregiving experience.
Support from us
If the outcome of your carers assessment has identified eligible needs, you’ll receive:
- A carer’s budget (personal budget):
- This can be a one-time payment or regular monthly support.
- It is allocated for services or resources that meet your identified needs as a carer.
