Schools and community facilities

Two new primary schools

The South Wokingham major development will have 2 new primary schools.

Floreat Montague Park Primary School, off William Heelas Way, opened in 2016. It has 2 forms of entry with capacity for 420 pupils, and capacity to expand to 3 forms of entry with capacity for 630 pupils.

Another primary school is planned to accompany the new housing south of the railway line, and we will take the next steps when demand requires.

Community facilities

There is a neighbourhood centre with a Co-Op food store in Montague Park, which also has room for a small community building (if needed) and further shops.

To the south of the railway line there will be a second, larger neighbourhood centre, which will include retail and community facilities as well as housing the primary school.
