North Wokingham Distributor Road

The North Wokingham major development includes a new distributor road which provides access to the new developments and helps minimise the impact of traffic.

The new road was built in phases, as the housing developments adjacent to the different phases were built, and has a separate shared footpath and cycleway along its length.

Works included a new 45m bridge crossing the railway line off Old Forest Road and realigning part of the existing Toutley Road to include an improved crossing over the Ashridge Stream.

Most of the nature parks serving the new development were built the north of the new road.
