There are local mental health services that you can go to for support.

Counselling services

Assisting Recovery in the Community (ARC) offers a free and confidential youth counselling service to Wokingham Borough residents.

Visit the ARC website and fill in their online contact form or call 0118 977 6710 and leave a voice message.

Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

Wokingham Borough Council’s MHST supports children and young people with emerging, mild or moderate mental health difficulties that may be affecting day-to-day life.

Depending on the age of the child or young person, we may work either directly with them or with their parents.

Call 111 if you need urgent mental health support.

You will speak to a professional from the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust mental health service who will discuss your current mental health needs and provide access to further support if you need it.
