Care at home
If you need support but prefer to remain in your home - or if you’re caring for someone who wishes to stay in theirs - we can help. Home care services, typically provided by professional care agencies, assist with essential daily tasks, including:
- Getting in and out of bed
- Bathing and personal care
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Getting to appointments
For more information, including a list of care agencies and their contact details, visit our support at home page.
Companionship and befriending services
Local voluntary organisations provide companionship and befriending services in various ways, including home visits, regular phone calls, and participation in friendship groups or activities.
