The food waste bin
The food waste bin is the black larger outdoor lockable bin. This bin can be used to empty the contents of the food waste caddy into.
If you live in a flat, you can put your food waste into the larger red wheeled bin, in the bin store.
How to use the food waste bin
-
Collect food in your food waste caddy.
-
When it's full, put it in the food waste bin.
-
If you have lined your food waste caddy with a plastic bag or newspaper these can be tipped into the food waste bin. These are then removed prior to the food waste being processed.
