HAF referrals

The Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) programme has funding available to provide places to non-eligible children/young people offering the opportunity to access activities delivered through the HAF programme.

If you are a school or professional working with a family who would benefit from a referral for their child/children to attend free activities and receive a healthy meal through the school holidays, you can refer them for the programme, providing that:

• The child/children you are referring are not already eligible (accessing benefit related free school meals).  If you are not sure, please email HAF@wokingham.gov.uk and we can confirm this with you
• Each child needs to be in education year reception to year 11

Younger siblings are welcome to join the HAF Events and the SEND stay and play sessions at Building for the Future.

This online form asks you to register personal details such as parent/carer name, parent/carer email address and any other relevant information. These details will only be used for the Holiday Activities and Food programme. Please ensure that you have the parent’s permission before sharing this information with us. Referrals are open year round. It is recommended to make a referral as early as possible before school holidays. Funding is limited. Referrals are assessed on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.
