Childcare funding schemes

The Government is rolling out a programme to provide funding to support children in the early years age group (9 months – 5 years)

There are three schemes that families may be eligible for. These are:

  • Supported 2 year old funding
  • 3 and 4 year old funding for all children (universal offer)
  • Free entitlement for working families for (9 months – 5 Years)

Tax-Free Childcare

Working parents can get up to £2,000 per child to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £4,000 a year if your child is disabled.
