Teaching Assistant

Required from 24th February

9:00 – 1:30, Monday – Friday, term time only to include a lunch duty (separate contract)

Salary Grade 3, scp 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183 FTE)

 

Our friendly Junior School is looking to appoint an exceptional, enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Assistant, to join our team.  We are seeking those who have a passion for education and who are keen to make a difference to our pupils’ learning. 

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an understanding of how children learn
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a good standard of spoken and written English and an understanding of Maths
  • Feel equally comfortable working on a 1-1 basis with a child, with small groups across the year group, or supporting whole class activity
  • Have some experience in working with children with SEN
  • Be able to make a positive contribution to an outstanding and friendly team
  • Be committed to social inclusion.
  • Be enthusiastic in order to motivate children to reach their full potential whilst providing support and challenge. 

 

As a member of staff in a Voluntary Aided School you are required to have regard to the character of the school and its foundation and to undertake not to do anything in any way contrary to the interests of the foundation.
