The Piggott School - Teacher of Science - Physics
We are looking for a full or part time, committed and enthusiastic teacher of science to join a large and well-resourced department with excellent results at all levels. The successful candidate will be required to teach all science disciplines at KS3 and physics at KS4. An ability to teach physics to KS5 would also be desirable. This role is suitable for an ECT and we would welcome applications from current trainee teachers.

The Piggott School science department:
- red ALPS for all GCSE science subjects including ALPS 2 for combined science – 2024
- achieved (100%) 6+ in biology, (100%) 5+ chemistry and (100%) 6+ physics at GCSE – 2024
- achieved (73%) 4+ in combined science at GCSE - 2024
- achieved (75%) A*-C in A Level biology – 2024
- achieved (87%) A*-C in A Level chemistry – 2024
- achieved (65%) A*-C in A Level physics – 2024
