We are looking for a full or part time, committed and enthusiastic teacher of mathematics to join a large and well-resourced department with excellent results at all levels. The successful candidate will be required to teach mathematics at KS3 and KS4. An ability to teach mathematics, core mathematics or further mathematics to KS5 would also be desirable.  This role is suitable for an ECT and we would welcome applications from current trainee teachers.

We wish to appoint a colleague who: 

  • is an outstanding teacher of mathematics with the potential to teach the subject at GCSE and A Level
  • has the flair, creativity and ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for all students
  • is eager to be a part of a very successful and hard-working department

 

The Piggott School mathematics department:

  • red ALPS (2) for GCSE mathematics – 2024
  • achieved (89%) grade 4+ in mathematics – 2024
  • achieved (93%) A*-C in A level mathematics – 2024
  • achieved (100%) A*-B in A level further mathematics – 2024
