We are looking for a full or part time, committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Food to join our well-resourced department with excellent results at all levels. The successful candidate will be required to teach food preparation and nutrition at KS4. An ability to teach other aspects of DT at KS4 would also be desirable.  This role is suitable for an ECT and we would welcome applications from current trainee teachers.

We wish to appoint a colleague who: 

  • is an outstanding Teacher off Food Preparation and Nutrition with the potential to teach the subject at KS4
  • has the flair, creativity and ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for all students
  • is eager to be a part of a very successful and hard-working department

 

The Piggott School Food Preparation and Nutrition Department:

  • achieved red ALPS (3) at GCSE - 2024
  • achieved (75%) A*-C in GCSE Food – 2024
