Little Acorns (Twyford) - Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, experienced childcare practitioner to join our outstanding team.  We provide a caring, safe, fun environment for children to learn and progress through play.  We are passionate about empowering children to lead their play and teach in a way that allows us to focus on our interactions with children and therefore their learning.  Little Acorns (Colleton) Pre-school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and follows ‘Safer Recruitment’ procedures.  It is a requirement of all staff that they share this commitment and follow the prescribed policy and procedures to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding across the whole organisation. 

Role and responsibilities
You will be involved in the safeguarding, education and care of children between the age of 2 and 4 years old and will be key person to a small number of those children. You will be responsible for ensuring all the children’s needs are met through working with our outstanding team of practitioners and building relationships with families.  You will teach children at an appropriate level offering stimulating play experiences that engage with their interests and imaginations in line with the EYFS.

Key requirements and qualifications.

NVQ 3 in childcare or above is essential.
