EYFS Teaching Assistant
Part-time, fixed-term, term time only role until August 2025
32.5 hours per week: Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30
(to include Lunchtime Duty)
Start Date – as soon as possible
Grade 3 SCP 5-6 FTE: £24,790 - £25,183 (subject to pay body review)
EYFS TA Actual Annual Salary from: £18,170 - £18,458

Saint Sebastian’s CofE Primary School are looking for exceptional staff to take up this exciting opportunity and join our supportive and friendly team.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to be deployed across our EYFS areas to support our children in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.
Duties include:
- Establishing positive relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track
- Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils’ work
- Lunchtime Duty
General requirements:
- An awareness of commitment to equality
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Understanding and implementing child protection procedures
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with children in EYFS and have a commitment to supporting and encouraging all children to reach their potential.
