Alder Grove CofE Primary School - Wraparound Care Playworker

We are seeking to employ highly motivated an enthusiastic playworkers to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for people who can work 2-4 sessions per week, Monday to Friday, but all applications will be considered. Permanent and casual contracts available.

Whether you are a student interested in work outside of college/university hours, you currently work in childcare but are looking for additional hours or a fresh challenge, or you are looking to launch your career in childcare, we would love to hear from you.

The role involves: 

The provision of a happy and safe environment for all staff and pupils. Fully supported by our Club Supervisor and a dedicated school support team, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the breakfast club and/or after school club, ensuring all activities are delivered to the club’s high standards at all times. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!

The successful applicant should have:

• excellent communication skills with young children
• the ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of an established team
• the ability to organise and teach children to play games
