Railcards for disabled children
Disabled children aged from 5 to 15 can apply for a railcard.
Children already get 50 percent off a train fare but the railcard will allow one carer travelling with a disabled child to get a third off their train fare.
Children may be eligible for a railcard if they:
- Have a visual or hearing impairment
- Have epilepsy and have frequent attacks
- Receive Disability Living Allowance at the middle or high rate for care, and low or high rate for mobility
