Suspensions and Dispensations
Dispensation
A dispensation allows a vehicle to park in contravention of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for a period that is paid for in advance. Such as resident permit bays, yellow lines or other restricted areas.
For example; carrying out works that require continuous access to a building for loading or unloading goods or materials.
Full details will need to be specified during the application process.
Suspension
A parking bay suspension allows a restricted bay to be temporarily suspended, allowing you to keep the bay clear or park within the area suspended with authorisation from the Council. Temporary information signs will be placed to confirm the period of suspension and you will need to confirm the reason for the suspension request during the application process.
For example; resident permit bay suspended for Utility/Road Works, Traffic Management or the placement of a skip.
Full details will need to be specified during the application process
