What Bookstart is

Bookstart is a national programme that encourages parents and carers to enjoy books with children from an early age.

Bookstart aims to provide a free pack of books to every baby in the UK - to inspire, stimulate and create a love of reading.

Free Bookstart packs for babies aged 0-18 months

The packs contain a free book and guidance material for parents and carers. The Bookstart Baby pack can be picked up from your local library or children's centre when your child is between 0 to 18 months old.
