Job summary

We are now looking for an Inclusion Manager at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge. Our Inclusion Manager is responsible for the day to day operational management of the Inclusion team (TAs and family link worker) and interventions, ensuring that effective work with students, who present significant challenges in terms of their integration into the school community and learning environment, is implemented.

Day to day responsibilities will be varied but will include: To support the pastoral and Senior Leadership Team with upholding the school policy and supporting staff where needed To operationally manage the Inclusion Team (Teaching Assistants, Family Support Worker and external agencies) daily, promoting collaboration and support for each other To ensure structure, progress and impact for students who receive support from the Inclusion Team Effective mentoring of targeted students Providing support for allocated students with their school work either directly (eg: making up missed work, organising their studies, preparing them for examinations and assessments) or indirectly by liaising with HOYs and AHTsOur ideal candidate will possess: Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification/experience NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths Safeguarding Level 3 Trained (or willingness to attend course) ELSA qualification is desirable or equivalent experience/ qualifications Experience of managing a team, preferably a team that has worked with vulnerable children Knowledge of relevant learning strategies Positive behaviour management, particularly those who are vulnerable Have highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal)Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge is proud to celebrate its recent Good Ofsted outcome.
