What is the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment?
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a statutory document:
- It helps us assess the current and future health, care and wellbeing, and needs of the population in Wokingham Borough.
- It highlights the key needs of the Borough and assesses how we can meet these needs with partners.
The assessment aims to develop local evidence-based priorities for commissioning that will improve health and reduce inequalities.
The evidence, analysis of needs and agreed priorities is used to help us and our partners (like the local NHS) determine what actions to take to meet health and social care needs, as well as helping address the wider factors that impact on health and wellbeing.
Who manages the Wokingham Observatory site?
The site containing this assessment is managed by us on behalf of the members of the Wokingham Health and Wellbeing Board.
The site is designed to provide local decision makers and residents with the information they need about Wokingham and its population.
