The printing on the bags reminds residents not to place any recyclable items in their blue bags. Over 50% of the blue bags contains recyclable materials which is costing more to dispose of and we lose this valuable material. We do produce a leaflet with the delivery of the blue bags but having it printed on the blue bags as a constant reminder is useful.
