Social housing allocations
1. We would like to know about the total number of young people (aged 16 - 24) who were allocated social housing during the full financial year and quarter 4 of the years 2023, 2022, and 2019.
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2023 - 10
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2022 - 7
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2019 - 5
• Annual total: 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023 - 15
• Annual total: 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022 - 17
• Annual total: 1st April 2018 – 31st March 2019 - 11
2. We would also like to know what percentage of social housing was allocated to young people out of the total amount of social housing allocations during the full financial year and quarter 4 of the years 2023, 2022, and 2019.
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2023 – 29%
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2022 – 22%
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2019 – 19%
• Annual total: 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023 – 15%
• Annual total: 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022 – 17%
• Annual total: 1st April 2018 – 31st March 2019 – 14%
3. Finally, we would like to know the number of young people (aged 16 – 24) on the social housing waiting list during the full financial year and quarter 4 of the years 2023, 2022, and 2019. We are requesting data for:
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2023 - 160
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2022 - 138
• Quarter 4: 1st January – 31st March 2019 - 103
• Annual total: 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023 - 183
• Annual total: 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022 - 190
• Annual total: 1st April 2018 – 31st March 2019 - 184
Social housing allocations
4. Within your authority (for all the time periods above), we would like to know how many social homes were allocated to young people aged between 16 and 24 (not including any children or other adults aged 16-24 included as part of a family). Additionally we would like to know what percentage of social housing was allocated to young people out of the total amount of social housing allocations.

5. Within your authority (for all the time periods above), we would like to know the number of young people aged between 16 and 24 (not including any children or other adults aged 16-24 included as part of a family) on the social housing waiting list.
