Wokingham Borough Council Commissions Royal Berkshire Hospital Foundation Trust for sexual health services for its residents.
2. What services are covered e.g. STI testing & treatment, Contraception, HIV?
Royal Berkshire Hospital Foundation Trust provides an integrated sexual health services to the services users including sexually transmitted infections (STI) and blood borne virus (BBV) testing, treatment and management and for a broad range of contraceptive provision (including LARC Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives). The service also includes Psychosexual Therapy service and Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

e) What Local authority areas are covered by these services?
This is a joint contract across Berkshire West, the contract covers Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire, who pay separately for their areas.
f) Who the authority contracts with for test kits within Sexual Health Services?
Wokingham commissions Royal Berkshire Hospital Foundation Trust to provide a specialist integrated sexual health service which includes all local provision for test kits which relate to sexual health service provision.
