1. I would like to know how many schools and academies have requested to lower their age range below the age of 4.
There have been no such lowering of age range / nursery creations at local authority maintained schools in the past 5 years.

2. I would also separately like to know how many schools and academies have requested to form a nursery by lowering its age range.
We are unable to comment on such changes at academies, as these are separate legal entities. The requester would have to contact the relevant Academy Trusts separately to obtain this information.
