1. Under the council's authority (either run directly by the council, or contracted to a third party on the council's behalf) how many of the following sites were open to the public in September 2010, and how many sites are open in September 2021?
a) Leisure Centres
2010: Loddon Valley, St Crispin’s, Ryeish Green, Carnival Pool.
2021: Loddon Valley, St Crispin’s, Ryeish Green, Bulmershe LC , Arborfield Green LC.
b) Indoor or outdoor swimming pools/facilities
Three indoor pools at Carnival, Bulmershe and Loddon.
c) Playing fields and 3G/4G pitches (for grassroots sports purposes - e.g., football, rugby)
3G Ryeish Green-Arborfield Green-Farley Hill Primary-Montague Park-Emmbrook.
Grass Pitches approx. 17 Cantley Park-Oakbank School- Bohunt School-Chalfont Park-Laurel Park-Sandford Park-Elizabeth Road-Barkham Rec
d) Running tracks

f) Children's play parks/playgrounds
There were 95 open play areas in Sept 2010 and there were 102 open play areas in Sept 2021. Locations are available on the Councils website.
2. How many, if any, of the above sites were closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic, and remain closed in September 2021? For any closed sites, are there plans to reopen?
• Play parks/playgrounds - Wokingham Borough Council reopened all play areas on the 4th of July 2021, there are no closed play areas.
• Leisure Centres/ Playing fields and 3G/4G pitches/ Grass Pitches approx. 17 – all were closed as per the government guidance when national lockdowns were in force, none are closed in September 21.
3. What was the council's expenditure on the following sites in the 2010/11 financial year, and how does this differ to expenditure in the 2021/22 financial year? If possible, please break these figures down by the categories below.
Unfortunately we do not have the 2010/11 information as all records were retained by 1Life who were the leisure provider at that time, so a difference cannot be provided.
