I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding the issuing of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) within your authority’s jurisdiction during the period January 1st 2024 to November 2024.

1. Specifically, I would like to request the following information regarding PCNs for the same time period:
a) Date of the offence was committed
b) Vehicle Registration or Make/ Model
c) Street/ Road where PCN was committed e.g. Upper Parliament Street
d) PCNs by Category/Violation Type (e.g., parking, bus lane, etc.).
e) Penalty status: Whether it has been paid, is being appealed, has been passed on to third party etc.
Please see enclosed a data sheet covering the period requested with details of all the Penalty Notices issued. The information has been separated by those PCNs issues by our enforcement officers and those issued following verification of the offence recorded by CCTV.
We are unable to provide vehicle registrations details because of data protection regulations.
