I am making a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

1. I would like to know how many schools in this Local Education Authority serve meat that may contain nitrates or nitrites.
Wokingham Borough Council does not hold information about meals served in schools, apart from the schools using the School Meals and Kitchens service, managed by the Council.
19 schools are currently using this service and the catering provider is contractually obligated to ensure that meals supplied through the service comply with Government standards and guidelines on the provision of healthy school meals.
