I hereby make a Freedom of Information request to see a copy of the legal advice produced which allowed the sale of the freehold interest in The Greyhound, 79 High Street, Wargrave, RG10 8BU to proceed despite the nomination as an Asset of Community Value being under consideration by Wokingham Borough Council.

The officer did receive an email from the legal department, in response to a request for advice, but the advice was more generalised in nature and requested more information. It did not 'allow the sale of the freehold interest in the Greyhound..', which is why a response that no information was held was issued. To date, no advice has been given which allowed the sale.
