Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information regarding internship schemes run or facilitated by the council over the last four years:
1. Details of Internship Schemes:
a) A list of all internship schemes, including the year(s) they operated, the number of placements offered, and the departments or services involved.
WBC recruits for a Planning Intern within the Place & Growth service every March for an August start date.
2. Eligibility Requirements:
a) A full breakdown of all requirements for applicants, including:
i. Age restrictions or criteria.
ii. Any specifications based on ethnicity, religion, or other personal and protected characteristics.
• Applicants should have a full driving licence and access to a car, studying for an undergraduate degree in Planning or a related subject
• Good IT skills including office software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• There are no age restrictions or specifications based on ethnicity, religion, or other personal and protected characteristics.
