This FOI relates to school children attending secondary schools only. The data should relate to the current school year, i.e. the applications made in the summer of 2024.

1. Please supply

a) the number of secondary school pupils resident in Shinfield South ward (as was) entitled to free school transport
b) The schools to which the individuals enumerated in (a) attend and the number attending each school
c) the number of school buses contracted by WBC and the schools they serve, with the total capacity of each route
d) for each bus/route, the number of seats allocated to students entitled to free school transport and the number allocated to paying passengers
e) for each bus/route, the number of applications for seats on that service in the last round of allocations (i.e. for September 2024) and, if different, the number of children on whose behalf application was made
f) for each bus/route, the number of applications made which were unsuccessful because seats could not be offered and if different the number of children on whose behalf applications were made but who could not be accommodated on the services.

2. Please supply the same information for the former Swallowfield ward.

If data is not available for the two former wards of Shinfield South and Swallowfield, then the data should be supplied for the current ward of Shinfield and the current ward of Spencers Wood and Swallowfield, the data being distinguished between the two wards.
