Wokingham Borough Council is a Lead Local Flood Authority. Since December 2015 the council has had 5 flood risk related roles, and from 2010 to December 2015, the council had 3 flood risk roles.

The last Flood Risk Management Strategy was published in April 2015.

The last Flood Defence Grant in Aid fund that the council applied for was in 2018 and for the sum of £115,000. The full amount was awarded in 2019.
