Yes.

2. Is there a councillor at Cabinet level who is a Climate Champion?
Yes.

3. Does the council have a Local Transport plan? If so, does the plan include a carbon budget as defined as a cap on the amount of greenhouse gases emitted?
Yes, every Highway Authority should have a Local Transport Plan (LTP). Our current LTP does not have a Carbon Budget, however, it may be considered for the new LTP which is currently in development (under review).

a) How many council housing properties are there? This varies because of sales and purchases but currently: 2613
b) Of these, how many are currently an Energy Performance Certificate e or higher? All
c) How many are an Energy Performance Certificate c or higher? Over the last year there has been one. The previous answer related to how many were above C. We are currently unable to answer how many are at C or above because we are in the process of changing our energy database and temporarily unable to undertake reporting. However, previous reports suggest that a little over 50% of our stock are C and the remainder D. A new energy survey programme has started for the whole estate and when we receive the results of this survey programme the ratio of C to D may change. We have previously taken action to improve all known E, F and G rated properties

5. How many council-owned locations are there? Of these, how many electric vehicle charging points have been installed?
There are approx. 2600 social properties – retrofitting program under development. So far the council has installed 54 new electric vehicle charging points on council car parks and public areas.

6. How many street lights are there? Of these, how many lights are LED?
Number of streetlights: 16,598. Of these 15,776 are LED. This is made up of all street lighting, car parks, amenity lighting etc.
