d) In which of these car parks are cashless parking solutions used? Please list. A cashless parking option is available in all our car parks where charges apply, see above list for paid for parking.
e) For those car parks with cashless parking - what solutions are currently being used (pay by phone, pay by app, on-line, space booking etc.)? Please state for each car park. Users can Pay by phone or App and on our website for season ticket applications for all the above ‘paid for parking’ car parks.
f) For those car parks without cashless parking, are you considering changing this? Not applicable - there are no car parks where charges apply that don’t have a cashless option. Should charging be introduced into any of the current none paying car parks, the same cashless options would apply.

2. Additionally...
If you do already have cashless parking:
a) Do any external companies provide your cashless parking solution(s)? Yes
b) If yes - for each, please state the company name, the value(s) of the current contract(s), the start and end dates of the current contract(s), if there are any extensions in place or planned to these contract(s) and the length of these extensions. All car parks utilise the same cashless option – RingGo. For season tickets we utilise NSL Apply. Both RingGo and NSL Apply are contracted via our parking services contractor, NSL (Marston Holdings) who are currently in contract from Oct 2017 until Oct 2026. No additional contract extensions are available for this contract.
c) What procurement route(s) did you use to tender for these external providers of cashless parking? We used an open tender for the NSL contract and added our RingGo contract to this as part of the procurement contract variables allowed.
d) What is the planned date(s) for re-tender for your contract(s) for external provider(s) of cashless parking? All parking services will be up for tender in Oct 2026 and will include provision for cashless payment.
e) How do you plan to procure your next external provider(s) of cashless parking (existing framework, new framework, competitive competition, direct award, extension of existing contract, etc.)? What is the timescale for this? It is expected that external providers of any cashless option would be included in the scope of any new contract tendered. No decision has made on the approach for retender, but any procure process will need to align with the end of the current contract – October 2026.

3. If you do not already have cashless parking on some or all of your sites:
a) Do you intend to tender for external suppliers to provide this? No. All car parks will be included in the new contract and provision to extend to new car parks will also form part of that contract should the need be required.
b) If yes, please state which sites: N/A
c) For the sites above, how do you plan to procure this external provider(s) of cashless parking (existing framework, new framework, competitive competition, direct award, etc.)? What is your likely the timescale for this? N/A
