Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please can you provide me with information on bus routes.

1. The number of bus routes in operation in your local authority in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24
Please find attached the public transport maps & guide for September 2018 which will show routes operating in 2018/2019 & 2019/2020.

Please find attached the public transport map & guide for September 2022 which shows routes operating for 2021/2022 and 2022/2023.
Please find attached the public transport map & guide for September 2024 which shows routes operating for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025.
We don’t have the map & guides available September 2020, September 2021 or September 2023, however you can see from the attached maps that the number of bus routes in Wokingham Borough are stable. The main changes to bus routes have been around P&R routes, so the 300 to RBH, the 500 from Winnersh Triangle, the 400 from Thames Valley Park and RA1 from Thames Valley Park. Other changes were the consolidation of the Leopard and Tiger services in the Shinfield & Spencers Wood area into the 600 service. 2. The number of bus stops in operation in your local authority in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24
We do not record the year of installation of a bus stop, so this is difficult to calculate accurately. The number, type and location of all current bus stops are shown in the BSIP, which is available here: https://www.myjourneywokingham.com/media/4629/wokingham-bus-service-improvement-plan-2024.pdf New bus stops have been added as part of new developments in Wokingham, Arborfield and Shinfield. My best guess is:
2019/2020 – 4
2021/2022 – 3 + 2 relocated
2022/2023 – 9
2024/2025 – 4

3. The number of buses in operation in your local authority in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24
