How we monitor our performance

A quarterly report is produced summarising our performance against the objectives outlined in the Council Plan.

Key indicators and major projects are grouped across the 5 themes of:

• Community
• Place
• Performance
• Business
• Workforce

What are major projects?

A major project is a project that features big changes that:

• Impact more than one part of the organisation
• Have a high public profile
• Have a big impact (e.g. financial)

How we manage our projects

We use PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) as a framework for managing major projects.

Quarterly reports

The quarterly reports are considered by the Council’s Leadership Team, Executive and Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
