I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding mobile phone recycling within your authority’s jurisdiction. Please provide the following details:
1. Recycling Statistics - The total number of mobile phones collected for recycling over the past five years, broken down by year from January 2022 to March 2025.
All our waste electricals are combined with other electrical items when sent for recycling so the spilt is unknown.
2. The percentage of collected mobile phones that were successfully recycled versus those sent to landfill or incineration.
