The information in this request is incomplete. It would exceed 18hours to confirm with each individual what training and conference have been attended. Some training and conferences are attended to without requiring expenditure, or can be agreed within teams budgets which may be recorded under something other than the training budget code.

Data based on financial data in FY2023/24 on account codes for Training and Conference Expenses. Excludes expenditure within the HRA and Schools Block.

We are unable to provide titles of each training course for question 2 as this would require looking up each invoice or again contacting each individual and there are nearly two thousand transactions on the Training account.

Conference fees and expenses in question 3 – we have included transactions specifically on the account for Conference Expenses, which is mainly invoiced attendance fees. Attendees may have incurred travel and accommodation costs for the conferences too, but this may have been expensed on different accounts and impossible to ascertain without extensive trawling through of transactions and expense claims. Again this list is incomplete as when compiling it was made aware that the Data Protection Practitioners conference hadn't been included and a number of officers attended that online (free sign up), so it is likely that others haven't been included as not centrally held.
