1. We write to request inspection records for outside 18 Anson Crescent, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 8JT and the immediate surrounding area from 01/01/2018 to present since we have recently received notification of a personal injury claim arising from alleged defective apparatus situated at the above location.
We require street inspection records to include, driven surveys, walk-about surveys and any other general maintenance records. For the sake of completeness, we should appreciate confirmation as to whether a s81 notice was issued in relation to the subject defect. We have searched our database and have been unable to locate a s81 notice. Please confirm if such notice exists and if so, please provide a copy.
Please also advise how often inspections are undertaken along with the method of inspection and a copy of your inspection policy.

The Word document details Wokingham Streetworks outcome of S81 investigations. There are two Excel files, containing details of routine inspections, customer reports and repairs on Anson Crescent and Nores Road from 1 April 2019 to the present. The files have been redacted to remove any personal details, as well as records not relevant to the enquiry, such as fly tipping and overgrown vegetation.
Records associated with the current inspection contract are only available from 1 April 2019 onwards. Anson Crescent, Shinfield isn’t adopted, so wasn’t inspected by highways operations previously.
