This area is public although many pages on this website are password protected. This includes details of the offer to schools for headteacher appraisal and governor services with associated costs. On the website at the moment are the details for 2024/25 but the new offer for 2025/26 will be available within the next few weeks.

Some of the courses offered and highlighted on the calendar are through local MATs and not the local authority.
6. Do you offer any subject specific training such as writing and phonics training? If yes, how much do training courses cost?
We offer termly KS2 writing standardisation and moderation meetings. These are offered free of charge to all schools that use Wokingham LA as their KS2 writing moderation authority.
We do not offer phonics training.
We offer network meetings, which include a training element, for teachers of Religious Education (RE), and an annual training session for new subject leaders of RE.
7. Do you offer subject leader network meetings? If yes what subjects do you offer. How much do you charge for these sessions?
We do not offer network meetings targeted specifically at subject leaders, but subject leaders of RE are likely to attend RE network meetings, and subject leaders of English may attend KS2 standardisation and moderation meetings.
Network meetings are offered for leaders of whole school provision including: English as an additional language; pupil premium; assessment; racial equity; primary-secondary transition; SEND; attendance; early years; therapeutic thinking; safeguarding; behaviour; mental health; data protection.
