6. If you are able to break this down, can you please say how many of the fines listed above were repeated fines? Please give the figure for each school year. E.g. 23-24 total fines 100, of which repeated fines 20. A repeated fine is when a parents receives a second fine for the same child within any three-year period, this is charged at the higher rate of £160.
The guidance stipulating that repeated fines have a 3-year timeframe only came in, in August 2024 (with the £160 rate). Some of the following repeated fines may have been outside the three-year period:
