Uncovered drain at Emmbrook infant school, Emmbrook Road

A member of the public fell over a damaged and uncovered drain (asset owned by South East Water) on 19/9/23 at 9am at Emmbrook infant school, Emmbrook Road, Wokingham RG14 1JR. The member of the public advised that this was reported to the council. South East Water have records of any defect reported to them by the council. Please confirm whether you have a record of this incident if it was reported to SEW, if not reported please explain why.
A report of a damaged manhole cover on the verge of Emmbrook Road, Wokingham, at the location “just outside the Emmbrook infant school” was logged on the Wokingham Borough Highway Information Management System (HIMS) at 09:25 on 19/Sep/2023. The Enquiry Reference Number for the report is W2357285. A member of the Wokingham Highways Alliance team attended the location at 11:09AM on 19/Sep/2023. On their arrival, it was found that the inspection cover had been re-seated in the frame, and no defect was visible. Accordingly, the enquiry was closed to show “No Further Action”. As no defect was visible, no report was made to South East Water.
