1. The total number of parking fines (Penalty Charge Notices) issued by Wokingham Borough Council for each of the following years:
• 2023-24 Parking Penalty Notices issued 29,106.
• 2022-23 Parking Penalty Notices issued 18,758
• 2021-22 Parking Penalty Notices issued 17,843

2. The total revenue raised from these parking fines for each of the years specified above. A detailed breakdown of how the revenue from parking fines was allocated and spent by the council for the financial years:
• 2023-24 £640,455
• 2022-23 £532,630
• 2021-22 £461,283
All revenue was spent on providing the Enforcement Contract no surplus funding generated.

3. Information on any enforcement measures or technologies introduced for parking violations, such as enforcement cameras outside schools, including: We have introduced School Keep Clear CCTV camera enforcement at 3 school locations in the borough.
• The date of introduction of such measures: These were operational from Sept 2023.
• The locations where these measures have been implemented (e.g., names of schools): The locations are: Holt Lane outside Holt Lane School. Silverdale Road, Loddon Primary School, Hillside Road, Loddon Primary School.
• The number of fines issued specifically due to these enforcement measures for each year since their introduction. Holt Lane: 82 Penalty Notices issued. Silverdale Road: 15 Penalty notices issued. Hillside Road: 82 Penalty Notices issued. Please note: Silverdale Road camera was down for almost 3 months due to an electrical fault waiting for repairs.
• Any internal reports, evaluations, or assessments conducted by the council regarding the effectiveness and impact of the new enforcement measures on parking violations. The cameras at these three locations have not been in place for a year to provide a level of enforcement to measure their effectiveness and impact. They have however released officers from the school keep clear marking to patrol surrounding parking restrictions.
