I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please confirm how many change of use applications you received to move from ‘Class E - Commercial, Business and Service’ to a ‘Class C3(a) – Dwellinghouse’

1. Number of change of use applications to move from class E to class C3(a)
• 2021
• 2022
• 2023
• 2024 (1st Jan to 30th June)
We do not report on this. When we receive applications for a change of use, it is not normally described as “Change of use of Class E to Class C3. The description would be something like “Change of use of office to dwellinghouse”. Therefore, we are unable to confirm how many applications we have received for a change from Class E. However, attached are two lists which show all changes of use and all approved and the enquirer can work out for themselves what use class the building was in.

2. Number of those applications that were approved
• 2021
• 2022
• 2023
• 2024 (1st Jan to 30th June)
