Business (non-residential) property rates

1. In terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and subject to section 40(2) on excluding personal data, could you please provide me with a complete and up-to-date current snapshot of all business (non-residential) property rates data for your local authority, including the following fields:
- Firm's Trading Name (i.e. the ratepayer)
- Property Address (Number, Street, Town)
- Property Post Code
- Billing Authority Property Reference Code (linking the property to the VOA database reference)
- 2023 Rateable Value
- Liability Start Date (for current ratepayer)
- Reliefs Applied (i.e. SBRR, retail relief etc.)
- Empty (Y/N)
- Empty Start Date (if applicable)
- Empty Exemptions Applied (i.e. listed building, land etc.)
- Property Description
- Net Annual Rates Charged 24/25 (after any reliefs/exemptions etc.)
We publish our Business Rates information on our website. Therefore we are refusing this request under Section 21 and 22 of the Freedom of Information Act.

The public interest test has been considered and as the information is updated periodically, and resource is better utilised elsewhere within the authority, it is not appropriate to create the dataset outside of the usual scheduled slot.
