1. When will phase 2 of the California crossroads scheme be complete?
The majority of Phase 2 has an estimated completion of mid August – however some aspects of Phase 2 will be completed overnight (surfacing/white lining/ramp – table top implementation), with localised remaining items being completed while Phase 3 is underway as highlighted within point 3 below.

2. When will phase 3 of the crossroads scheme start and finish?
Start on 24th June 2024 – majority of works estimated to be complete by 2nd September. Some works will need to continue after this date (surfacing/white lining/totem installation/landscaping & topsoiling). Compound will be cleared and removed from site after the lining/resurfacing works (overnight closures) by mid September.

3. Please provide the programme showing critical dates to achieve these dates?As the programme includes contract sensitive information we have listed the key dates showing current completion timescales below:
Phase 2 – Works underway with a proposed completion of mid August
Phase 3 – Works due to begin on 24th June and anticipated to last until 2nd September
Overnight works are planned for all phases from early September until mid September.
Proposed compound clearance mid September.
All arms of California Crossroads to be opened to through traffic is currently estimated to be within the first two weeks of August.
These dates are of course subject to change – but are accurate at the time of writing.
