The total figure is 87, however the majority of these students are in a placement and are seeking an alternative. 7 are recorded as not having a current school placement.
2. As of the date of receipt of this email (8thMay) how many children are awaiting assessment for an EHCP in your council area?

3. How many SEND appeals were undertaken in the years of 2021, 2022 and 2023.

6. How much was spent by the council on the SEND appeals process in the years of 2021, 2022, and 2023? This includes appeals that went to tribunal, and those which were settled before tribunal was necessary. It should also include a breakdown of legal fees where possible.
We are unable to answer this, our appeals are handled by Joint Legal Team, the expenditure would cover all elements of support from JLT.
